Partnerships

A partnership with Your Travel Centre puts your name on the business and our support behind every part of it.

What does a partnership with a host agency mean?

A host agency partnership is a working relationship between an independent travel advisor and a company that already holds the supplier agreements, accreditation and technology needed to sell travel professionally. You’re not employed by us, and you’re not buying a franchise either. It’s something in between.

The relationship exists because building all of that infrastructure alone is slow and expensive. Supplier contracts take years to negotiate. Accreditation has its own hurdles. Most independent advisors would rather spend that time with clients, not paperwork. So the partnership splits the work: we handle what sits behind the scenes, and you handle the part clients actually see.

It’s a two-way arrangement though, not a hand-off. We rely on our partners to represent the industry well and grow their own client base. You rely on us to keep the infrastructure current and the support responsive. Neither side works without the other.

In Short

A partnership means we look after the supplier relationships, the accreditation and the systems, and you look after the clients under your own name. Neither side has to do it alone.

What our partnership delivers

The Key Difference

A partnership, not a takeover

Some host agencies partner with you on the condition that your business trades under their umbrella brand. Their name, their logo, their identity out front, yours somewhere in the fine print. It works for some people, but it isn’t a partnership in the fullest sense. It’s a lease on someone else’s reputation.

That’s not how we structure it. In a partnership with Your Travel Centre, your name stays on the door. We provide the framework behind it, and you keep the equity in what you build. If you ever decided the relationship wasn’t working, you’d walk away with a business, not just a client list.

Common Questions

Partnership questions, answered

Details are covered during your enquiry, since they can depend on the plan that suits your situation. There’s no obligation to sign anything before you’ve had that conversation and seen the numbers for yourself.

No. Our accreditation covers you, so you don’t need to apply for your own travel licence before joining. That’s part of what the partnership takes off your plate.

Plenty of our partners run this alongside other commitments, at least in the beginning. How much time you dedicate to it is really up to you and how quickly you want to grow.

We’d rather earn your business every year than lock you into something long-term. If the fit isn’t right down the track, you’re free to move on, and you keep the brand and client relationships you’ve built.
